Happy birthday to HDT, still influencing nearly two centuries later. I am not bothered by my age. It’s easier as a man; harder to lose weight maybe, but getting older is easier for men for sure. I feel my knee getting old. My left one has been sore for years now and I’m slow to get up. Not as slow as I’ll get though and that’s perhaps why bjj is so suitable for the older gent. It’s easier to take at your own pace, yet still a good stretch and workout for the entire body. Things come and go. My back is ok now, my elbow too, perhaps my knee has replaced this, but the hips are good and this is always a bonus and encouraging for the future.
