Aren’t we all just food for worms? Which truly makes us one with the earth. We shall all return to it one day whether it is in the form of ash blowing in the wind and evaporating, or in the slowly melting process of decay that comes from our flesh shrivelling and eventually falling away to the earth in the bellies of tiny beasties. Our bones may last longer but eventually they will not. Who are we to destroy this world that we will become part of anyway? Fools.
Warm still this morning, though windy. My head is a bit thick this morning, first bjj for a couple of weeks last night so I’m probably a bit unused to it. No exercise other than stretches and press ups as well hasn’t helped. Dehydrated too. The yeti in the Serengeti. A morning spent here at my desk would be welcome instead of the demands, insults and stuff breaking I know is coming. And as for this afternoon it’ll probably be a re-run of yesterday. Another no show but I’m not spending the going to the skatepark and babysitting. Such a waste of everyone’s time. When there is potential that is being wasted it is even worse, how can we encourage that and make the best of people if they won’t even come into the building? This has been even stranger than last year. And it’s only September.
